An exquisite blend of old-world luxury and modern minimalism, the Hotel Indigo Suzhou Grand Canal is a stunning landmark in Suzhou’s popular New District. Residing in the top 14 floors of the Longfor Center, the hotel features stunning views, both outside and inside. The interior was inspired by Prosperous Suzhou, a renowned eighteenth-century scroll painting depicting Suzhou’s bustling urban life. With this masterpiece as the creative force driving the interior’s meticulous design, the resulting aesthetic fuses historical and cultural influences with contemporary style.

The Hotel Indigo was designed to be both an urban retreat with modern amenities and a celebration of the city’s rich heritage. Classical and traditional elements of Suzhou, such as embroidery, the Kunqu opera, and the classic Suzhou gardens have been reimagined by HBA and integrated into the design of the lobby, public spaces, and the 276 elegant guest rooms. Each of these modern, luxurious guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the city.

Continuing the theme of modern luxury, the guest bathrooms feature beautifully functional elements by Kohler. Karing™ baths are a striking centerpiece in the bathrooms, while Innate™ smart toilets provide a more personalized and efficient bathroom experience. Owned by Kohler Co., Jacob Delafon faucets in Matte Black add visual contrast and sophistication to the bathrooms, along with sleek KOHLER® Forefront bathroom sinks in White.
